A child of NYC, I was raised in Queens and have spent the past 10 years living in the Brooklyn community. After years of managing restaurants in New York City, I decided to turn my love for animals into my full-time vocation. Not only do I get to spend time with the furry loved ones of the area, but I also enjoy fantastic relationships with my clients and I am able to pass my days in urban nature. What a dream! I am also a dog trainer certified by Animal Behavior College. I use these skills with the pack and as a trainer for Urban K-9. You'll easily recognize me when roaming the neighborhood with my spunky Xoloitzquintle, Tonali.

Becoming a dog walker several years ago was a life-enhancing experience because it allowed me to spend more time with these loving beings. I find our neighborhood walks to be physically and mentally rewarding to both myself and my four-legged buddies. When I'm not walking, you will find me teaching mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual development courses.

I grew up in an NYC apartment with 16 cats and 3 dogs and have had animals around ever since I can remember. A retired filmmaker, I directed the documentary Taking The Face for the Portuguese Animal Rights Society, and wrote the feature film, The Zookeeper, made in the Czech Republic in 2001. In other words - I’m all about the beasts. Covering the South Brooklyn area with my dog friends these years has been the greatest. I love walking with the pack and love the wonderful reactions you get from passersby There’s something about a pack of dogs that just makes people smile.

My name is Sam. I started a pet sitting business 5 years ago and only looked after cats. In 2019, I was able to add dogs and other animals. I haven't looked back since! My clients have always appreciated the time and attention that I give to their animal companions. They know that their furry babies are in the best hands when they're in my care. I began walking dogs with Woofs & Wags in early 2022 and have enjoyed every moment of it! I deeply care for each animal as if they are my own. I look forward to connecting with you and your furry loved ones.

I was born in France and realized my love for animals at a young age having both cats and dogs as family pets. I used to work as an accountant, however, it was here in NYC that I was lucky enough to find my natural gift as a guardian. I started as an au pair, then a nanny, and eventually my current career and truest passion: caring for our furry friends. I am TNR certified, an owner of multiple rescue cats, and I consistently volunteer with animal rescues. My attentive nature ensures that those in my care have the healthiest experience possible.
My goal is to make both the owner’s and their precious loved ones feel both at ease and happy, just as animals have always done for me.

As a NYC implant from upstate NY, being a dog walker brings me back to my roots of animal and nature lover. I’ve lived with cats, lizards, birds - you name it - since I can remember, and dogs since I was 10. Remembering times where my greatest joys and support came from our canine comrades, I understand the precious friendships, so easy to cultivate with these beings. As a working NYC musician, this is the dream-day job of my life, and I thank you for trusting me with your family!

I started my relationship with Woofs and Wags as a customer. I was always proud of the relationship I had with my dogs, but they seemed to love Cesar and Christian more than anything. When I got the opportunity to do what they do, spend my morning at the center of a pack of best friends, it was a no brainer. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m teaching chess and playing Dungeons and Dragons with students K-9 right here in Carroll Gardens. I haven’t managed to teach a dog chess yet but if you want your pup to be the first, let me know.

I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember, and am beyond thrilled to be a part of Woofs and Wags. Getting to walk through my favorite area of Brooklyn with the pack is always the highlight of my day. As an experienced sitter and independent walker, I was very excited to begin pack walking, and getting to know these amazing dogs has been incredible. When I'm not walking with Woofs and Wags, I can be seen performing onstage as an actor and comedian!
