<image:title>Home Old - Why Brooklyn Pet Owners Choose Us</image:title>
<image:caption>Since 2013, Brooklyn pet owners have trusted Woofs & Wags for one simple reason — we treat every animal like our own. Our lead trainer, Cesar Vallejo, is certified by the Animal Behavior College (ABCDT) and brings that expertise to every interaction with your dog, whether it's a group walk or a private training session. Our team is carefully selected, fully insured, and deeply rooted in the Brooklyn community. We use Time to Pet, a professional pet care app, to manage scheduling, payments, and post-visit report cards — so everything is transparent, organized, and easy for you. New clients always start with a free meet-and-greet so we can get to know you and your pet before any services begin.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Cesar Vallejo, ABCDT - Owner</image:title>
<image:caption>A child of NYC, I was raised in Queens and have spent the past 10 years living in the Brooklyn community. After years of managing restaurants in New York City, I decided to turn my love for animals into my full-time vocation. Not only do I get to spend time with the furry loved ones of the area, but I also enjoy fantastic relationships with my clients and I am able to pass my days in urban nature. What a dream! I am also a dog trainer certified by Animal Behavior College. I use these skills with the pack and as a trainer. You'll easily recognize me when roaming the neighborhood with my spunky Xoloitzquintle, Tonali.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Christian Vallejo - Owner</image:title>
<image:caption>Becoming a dog walker several years ago was a life-enhancing experience because it allowed me to spend more time with these loving beings. I find our neighborhood walks to be physically and mentally rewarding to both myself and my four-legged buddies. When I'm not walking, you will find me teaching mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual development courses.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Christel</image:title>
<image:caption>I was born in France and realized my love for animals at a young age having both cats and dogs as family pets. I used to work as an accountant, however, it was here in NYC that I was lucky enough to find my natural gift as a guardian. I started as an au pair, then a nanny, and eventually my current career and truest passion: caring for our furry friends. I am TNR certified, an owner of multiple rescue cats, and I consistently volunteer with animal rescues. My attentive nature ensures that those in my care have the healthiest experience possible. My goal is to make both the owner’s and their precious loved ones feel both at ease and happy, just as animals have always done for me.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Eduardo</image:title>
<image:caption>I’ve been working with dogs in New York City for over 10 years, building a deep, hands-on understanding of their needs in an urban environment. Alongside my experience as a professional dog walker, I also bring a veterinary technician background, which has given me a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and attentive care. At Woofs & Wags, I focus on providing calm, reliable, and structured pack walks where each dog feels safe, understood, and engaged. Whether it’s supporting dogs with special needs, reading group dynamics, or simply making sure every walk is a positive outlet, I bring both skill and care to every outing.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Teddy</image:title>
<image:caption>I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember, and am beyond thrilled to be a part of Woofs and Wags. Getting to walk through my favorite area of Brooklyn with the pack is always the highlight of my day. As an experienced sitter and independent walker, I was very excited to begin pack walking, and getting to know these amazing dogs has been incredible. When I'm not walking with Woofs and Wags, I can be seen performing onstage as an actor and comedian!</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Nathaly</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m originally from Venezuela, where I grew up surrounded by dogs and developed a natural comfort and love for them from an early age. My hands-on experience really deepened when I moved to NYC and lived with Cesar, who regularly boarded and trained dogs. He showed me the ropes—how to understand dog behavior, read body language, and eventually how to confidently walk and manage a pack in a busy city environment. Since then, I’ve grown into this work in a very real, practical way, learning through experience and daily time with dogs of all personalities. I genuinely love being outside and staying active, and walking through the streets of NYC with my four-legged best friends is one of my favorite parts of the job.</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Boarding - How It Works: New to boarding with us? Every new client starts with a free meet-and-greet before the first stay. This gives us a chance to get to know your dog's personality, routine, and any special requirements. From there, all scheduling and communication is handled through our Time to Pet app, making it easy to book, pay, and stay in touch during your dog's stay. We ask that all dogs boarding with us are up to date on their vaccinations and do not have any contagious illnesses. If your dog requires medication, we're experienced in administering pills and liquids — just provide clear instructions and enough supply for the full stay.
